Forge Motorsport Blow Off Spacer for 2.0T FSI / TSI Forge Motorsport VAG 6 Speed Side Quick Shift

For all those wishing to install a boost gauge to their 2.0 litre FSiT engines (suitable for all VAG TSI and FSI turbo engines ),we have a CNC inline take off, which is installed on to the inlet manifold, and allows up to three connections to be made if required.

Yet another first for the Volkswagen and Audi Tuning Market from Forge ! With the introduction of the VAG TSi Turbo Engine, we have developed a Patented Atmospheric Blow-Off adapter specifically designed to fit this application. Simple in execution, yet offering the desirable atmospheric blow-off valve sound, this product has been designed to be fully compatible with the Bosch engine management systems employed. This is not only a replacement for vehicles fitted with the OEM solenoid valve part number 06F 145 710 D, but will fit earlier applications of the 2.0 FSiT .

This replacement adjustable sideshifter will allow you to shorten the side to side movement of your gear shift in order to obtain the optimum shifting times required for performance driving . You can personally customise the lateral movement to suit your own preference due to an infinitely adjustable pivot mechanism.  This unit will fit all VAG 6 speed gear boxes as found in

  • - VW MK4 Jetta GLI
  • - VW MK4 Golf GTI (337, 20th Anniversary, 24V VR6)
  • - VW New Beetle "Turbo S"
  • - Audi MK1 TT and Mk2
  • - VW MK5 Jetta GLI

  • - Audi A3 / S3 1.8T,2.0 Diesel  and 2.0FSiT - VW Passat (B6) 2.0FSiT, 2.0 Diesel

  • - SEAT Leon / Altea MK1 1.8T, 2.0 Diesel and MK2 2.0FSiT

The Unit is supplied with both pin and ball fixings to suit either type of cable fixing, as found on these vehicles.

Please note: To ensure that this product functions correctly and so as not to stress associated components, it is essential that the linkage cables are re-adjusted after the installation of this product as per the supplied fitting instructions

Up to and including 2007 models the original side to side shifting mechanism on these vehicles should be made of metal with the 2008 and onwards models having the original side to side mechanism made of plastic. (on all models the throw or front to back mechanism is made of metal )

With a significant 60mm diameter and weighing in at over 350g this is sure to please.

The two piece design allows fitment across the Audi, SEAT, Skoda, VW range and we believe that it will also fit most vehicles with a gear lever shaft diameter up to 12.25mm. It does not matter, with this unique design, if your existing gear knob is secured by a screw thread or clip type fasteners.

This product is available in either a polished alloy, anodised black or the TT semi matt silver finish. There is a choice of 5 or 6 speed inserts to suit your gear knob and for Audi TT owners we can offer the TT logo on the insert.

This quickshifter, once installed, will allow you to shorten the movement of your gear shift in order to obtain the optimum shifting times required for performance driving . You can personally customise the throw to suit your own preference due to an infinitely adjustable pivot mechanism. For owners of VAG vehicle equipped with the all new 2.0T FSI engine that have the electronically controlled bypass valves, situated at the front of the engine (as shown in the photo below), we can now offer an alternative.

If you are running increased boost pressures, after a software remap (chip), or the OEM valve is being subjected to high temperatures, the lifespan of the unit is significantly reduced.

Even without any modifications taking place to the vehicle at all, this OEM valve has been shown to fail over time and it’s boost holding capacity also leaves some room for improvement. Our alternative is a fully engineered solution offering both significantly improved reliability as well as valve related boost response. Our valve and installation kit replaces the original unit with a pressure/vacuum operated piston valve that still also retains the desirable OEM ECU control over valve actuation. This product has been thoroughly designed and tested with the expressed intent of offering improved valve response and maintaining ECU control while resulting in absolutely NO fault codes, NO check engine lights, and no adverse effects of any kind. All of the necessary components and detailed instructions are included and everything is designed to make installation as simple as possible.

Forge are pleased to present the all new Golf 2.0 L FSIT "TWINtercooler" this ground breaking innovation features our unique twin-core design which has added greater efficiency throughout the entire RPM band beyond that of a single core setup, We have achieved this by using the latest core technology with high flow end tank designs to achieve a huge reduction in inlet temperatures.

We have spent many months testing various designs and the Twintercooler design emerging as the clear winner. This is a bolt-on kit that retains the use of the OEM intercooler to produce both horsepower AND torque, but more importantly, a HUGE reduction in inlet temperatures and increased flow efficiency.

A reduction in temps of up to a peak of 20 degrees Fahrenheit from 102 to 82 at 6600 RPM!

While the horsepower figures themselves are impressive enough, this will undoubtedly vary from car to car under various circumstances, but such a large reduction in inlet temps. is difficult to achieve. Once again we have a Forge product that truly is Engineered for performance.
